Hello! My name is Jeff Campbell I am a passionate Agile Coach who finds fulfilment in helping individuals, teams, and organisations to improve.
I am a Agile Coach who considers the discovery of Agile and Lean to be one of the most defining moments of my life, and consider helping others to improve their working life not to simply be a job, but a social responsibility. As an Agile Coach, I have worked with driving Agile transformations in organisations both small and large.
I am heavily also involved in the Agile community outside of the work place as one of the founding members of Gothenburg's largest Agile community, at 2000+ members www.scrumbeers.com, a community run Agile discussion group. I also organises the annual conference www.brewingagile.org.
While difficult to perform, my role is easy to describe. I help individuals, teams, and organisation to improve themselves.
My favourite way to achieve this is to get my hands dirty, working on a daily basis with organisations who build and delivery products and services. Working to help teams understand and apply Agile and Lean principles, practices, and tools on a continuous basis.
However, I also provide introductions in the form on courses and workshops to help build enthusiasm, and provide your organisation with the basic toolset to get them started on their journey towards Agility.
For 1 year I was "Principle Agile Delivery Coach" for Utopia Music, I coached teams and the organisation to delivery software faster and more relaibly. I heavily supported the Product Team in thier collaboration for planning and building roadmaps, as well as building their new organisation from the ground up.
For 8 years I worked with Meltwater as an Agile coach for a wide variety of teams and provided coaching and facilitation to the broader organisations. I helped these teams to practice continuous improvement, move towards continuous delivery of business value, improve their backlog refinement process, as well as facilitating a wide variety of workshops.
This involved application of a wide variety of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming, the Lean Start-Up, and Mob Programming
I worked with Jeppesen Systems AB in a large scale Agile transformation. My main responsibility was as a Scrum Master for two teams. However, I also provided coaching and facilitation to the broader organisations when required.
This involved application of a wide variety of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, eXtreme Programming, and SAFe.
For the past 10 years I have been providing agile teaching and coaching services on behalf of Informator Utbildning Svenska AB.
During this time I have worked with thousands of people on their Agile transformations. I have received only the highest of reviews and feedback from all organizations I have worked with.
For two and half years I provided Agile coaching services to several teams providing software to the Swedish state administration Travikverket. These systems covered a wide range of functions, from providing a test booking system to the public in order to facilitate the process of getting a driver’s license, to billing systems for many different payment methods, as well as providing a wide range of support services to Travikverket itself, such as resource planning tools and CRM systems for the customer services teams.
During his time with Trafikverket quality, delivery speed, employee and customer satisfaction all increased substantially.
I was responsible for managing and developing the Scrum process for Lavasoft’s development team on the company’s main product "Ad-Aware", an Anti-Virus / Anti-Spyware solution delivered to approximately 6 million end users all over the world. As well as a wide variety of other products the company delivered.
During this time I filled a wide variety of roles including Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Quality Assurance team leader.
